PARS GOSTAR Magnetic Separation Process

Magnetic separators exploit the difference in magnetic properties between the ore minerals and are used to separate either valuable minerals from non-magnetic gangue, e.g. magnetite from quartz, or magnetic contaminants or other valuable minerals from the non-magnetic values.
PROJECT SCOPE:

Magnetic separators exploit the difference in magnetic properties between the ore minerals and are used to separate either valuable minerals from non-magnetic gangue, e.g. magnetite from quartz, or magnetic contaminants or other valuable minerals from the non-magnetic values. Run of mine (ROM) materials that comes from Iron mine has a high amount of iron mineral content like magnetite. Our scoped laboratory studies to invent cost-effective process diagram with considering maximum recovery and new technologies that can affect in economical parameters of design showed that magnetic concentration method is most appropriate method to produce reach iron concentration that is usable for steel industries.

PARS GOSTAR iron processing project comprises of Jaw and hydro cone crusher with ball mills and magnet drums to separate material by two dry and wet methods in iron processing rougher, scavenger, cleaner and re-cleaner lines.  Dry line and wet line designed to separate 0.5-10 mm and -150 micron respectively. Magnetic system with low magnetic intensity to process 150,000 ton iron ore per year.
